![]() Past Trip Logs: November 2006 "This generation will be remembered for three things: the Internet, the war on terror, and how we let an entire continent go up in flames while we stood around with watering cans. Or not." -U2's Bono Background Info Cornerstone staff headed out to Africa in 2006 to work with Pastor Bernard Modo in Douala, Cameroon. God created an instant connection between our churches, so we're planning on returning with a full team for more ministry at his church (here) in the future. Africa is often known more for its problems than anything else. Corruption, AIDS, unemployment, poverty... Statistics can be depressing, but the good news is that God is working in Cameroon. To the north, a national revival is hitting Nigeria, and Cameroon could be next. Pastor Bernard has a passion to plant churches throughout central Africa, and we're excited to join with him. Be sure to check out the trip log from back in November 2006 for some great videos, photos, and stories! |
